Como não sou totalmente contra remakes, como é o caso, só posso dizer que estou entusiasmado com este filme. Denzel Washigton + John Travolta + Tony Scott (Deja Vu, Domino, Man on Fire, Enemy of the State), só pode resultar num bom filme!

Best Of 2008

Com cerca de um mês de atraso mas cá está finalmente o meu balanço anual. Foi um ano especialmente feliz a nível de entretenimento. Tivemos pérolas como a sequela de Batman Begins – The Dark Knight, com o espantoso Joker de Heath Ledger, obras-primas da animação como Wall-E e até mesmo Kung Fu Panda, e ainda adaptações de histórias verídicas arrepiantes como a de Changeling.
Iron Man, que foi sem duvida o blockbuster do ano, não só não desiludiu, como deixou os fãs a implorar por uma sequela.
Mickey Rourke e o seu Randy 'The Ram' Robinson, em The Wrestler, deixaram a crítica de boca aberta, e foi sem sombra de dúvida a surpresa do ano! E reforçou-me bastante a confiança em Darren Aronofsky, para a sua adaptação de Robocop, que chegará no próximo ano!
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, é o grande vencedor (para já só em nomeações), dos Oscares deste ano. David Fincher voltou em grande forma, repetiu a “fórmula” de Se7en, pondo Brad Pitt em mais um papel que marcará certamente a sua carreira. Pitt está indiscutivelmente em alta, trabalhou este ano que passou com Fincher, com os irmãos Coen em Burn After Reading, e este ano está as ordens de Tarantino em Inglourious Basterds (que é uma das minhas grandes esperanças para 2009, como não podia deixar de ser…).
Slumdog Millionaire, que é o segundo filme com mais nomeações este ano, merece também muita atenção, pois é sem sombra de dúvida uma obra de grande originalidade.
No que toca a series, tivemos a conclusão em grande de The Shield, confesso que os últimos episódios me deixaram com uma grande nostalgia. Lost teve uma 4ª temporada muito poderosa, com a aguardada saída dos Oceanic 6 da ilha. Heroes e Prison Break também mantiveram o nível, se bem que esta última foi cancelada há dias, o que quer dizer que nos restam 4 ou 6 episódios para o adeus final…
Este ano não vou comentar os piores…os nomes falam por si!
Venha 2009! Inglourious Basterds, Angels & Demons, Dragonball Evolution, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, 2012, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Star Trek, Up, Watchmen, Terminator Salvation… Venham eles!!!
